With decades of experience, Ted and Roy Mayer, co-owners of CAWC, can address any of your immediate and long range concerns. Since the beginning, our approach has been to personally supervise the projects to ensure that quality and service meets or exceeds client expectations. Our foreman and supervisors have been employed by CAWC for an average of 15 years and have completed four years of waterproofing apprenticeship training through the local union state certified school. Our experience, technical expertise, and high-quality service provide our customers with the highest possible return on their maintenance investment.
Ted helped start this company in 1971 with his father, Ted Mayer Sr, as the Vice President of CAWC. He started as an apprentice, learning the trade from the installer perspective. From 1979 to 2000, Ted taught a Waterproofing Apprentice Program at San Francisco Community College. Ted is currently involved in all aspects of the company, including estimating, project managing, and hiring. Ted prides himself on delivering proven remedies for your waterproofing problems.
Roy was a high school freshman when the company was started by his father. He began working at CAWC as a laborer during his summer vacations. In 1980, Roy became an estimator and started assisting in the office. Roy learned the trade as he went, attending seminars and meetings with manufacturers. In the early 90s, Roy became the Secretary and Treasurer and began running the business operations. Roy takes pride in offering his clients his experience, personal attention, and availability to solve waterproofing problems.
Sharon came to CAWC in the early 90s. She handles the accounting and day-to-day operations in the office. She makes sure things run as smoothly as possible.
Brennan joined the team in 2010 after graduation from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a degree in Business. He is also a part of the third generation and is involved in all daily activities. He currently provides estimates and manages projects, as well as assisting in the office. Brennan delivers excellent customer service and expertise to get any project done.
Darren is part of the third generation of this company, and started working in the office in 2009. He has a degree in Business from San Francisco State and is learning on the go. He currently handles estimating and some project management.
Gabrielle started with CAWC in 2017, coming from a construction background. She currently handles administrative duties, as well as assisting the estimators onsite for job walks. She is still learning the trade through seminars and pitching in to help on jobs.
Victor joined the CAWC crew in 2006 and has since become an integral part of project operations. He coordinates with owners, scheduling, safety and quality control of installation. He is our go-to guy.
